Monkeys end Gaga's album reign

Alex Turner and the Arctic Monkeys are top of the album charts

The Arctic Monkeys have knocked Lady Gaga off the top of the album charts.

According to the Official Charts Company's midweek update, Suck It And See - the band's fourth album and a new release - has toppled Born This Way from its Number One position.

Born This Way is expected to drop to fourth in the album chart at the weekend, after a fortnight at the top.

According to midweek figures, Adele's album 21 retained its place at number two, while America's Got Talent runner-up Jackie Evancho's debut album Dream With Me is third.

The Glee Cast look set to score their ninth Top 10 album in just sixteen months at the weekend, with a slot at number five.

New release Changed The Way You Kiss Me, by UK rapper Example, is heading to the top of the singles chart, and is expected to supplant Pitbull's Give Me Everything, featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer.
