More tour dates for One Direction

One Direction have added extra dates to their tour

One Direction have added further UK and Irish dates to their tour which has been lined up next year.

The heartthrob group have extra shows at Dublin's Croke Park, Manchester's Etihad Stadium and London's Wembley Stadium which were announced along with a string of European stadium and arena gigs.

The group are currently preparing to release their third album Midnight Memories, which comes out on November 25 and will go head to head with Gary Barlow's new album which is out the same day.

The quintet have also been enjoying movie success with One Direction: This Is Us which has so far taken £6.8 million at the UK box office.

The new dates next year are May 23 in Dublin, May 30 in Manchester and June 6 in London.

Tickets go on sale on Saturday September 28.
