Huey Morgan's TV tantrum has reportedly boosted ticket sales for his band

Huey Morgan's temper tantrum on Never Mind The Buzzcocks looks to have boosted ticket sales for his band, Fun Lovin' Criminals.

The singer shocked viewers and the studio audience when he grew angry with guest hosts Rizzle Kicks during the final round of the music panel show and smashed his mug on the desk in front of him, storming out of the studio as the programme ended.

But the Daily Mirror has reported that according to ticket site Viagogo, sales to see his band have been boosted by 205 per cent since the TV incident earlier this week.

A spokesman for the company said: "Huey may have struggled to see the funny side but it seems his fans certainly didn't as we've seen a sudden spike in demand for tickets to see the fiery front man live in action in the new year."

Huey has since mocked his own outburst on Twitter, posting a photo of a puppy sitting inside a teacup with the caption: "Oh s***! Huey's here?"

Gemini:

Someone will break a promise to you, which is disappointing. Don't let this setback stop you from crossing the finish line. You may have to submit an entry late or attend the last few minutes of a meeting, but take heart. Rallying in the midst of difficult circumstances will count in your favour. Someone else may get a job or scholarship, but you'll be in the running for the next opportunity. In the meantime, have an alternative plan ready when relying on others for help.More
