Morrissey is back on song following collapse
Wednesday, 28 October 2009
Morrissey returned to the stage at Royal Albert Hall last night following his collapse mid-performance at the weekend.
The 50-year-old former Smiths singer was playing at the Oasis Leisure Centre in Swindon when the gig was cut short.
Morrissey was taken to hospital suffering from breathing difficulties . Onlookers described seeing him “straining” to perform on Saturday night and slumping to his knees.
The singer was also forced to postpone a show in Bournemouth on Monday night, but a spokeswoman said he was now “rested and absolutely fine for tonight”.
