Musical job a thrill for Barlow

Gary Barlow has given US audiences a peek at his musical Finding Neverland - and admitted it was thrilling.

The Take That star has composed tracks for the Broadway-bound show about playwright JM Barrie and his classic story Peter Pan, and performed a medley of the songs during the Thanksgiving episode of Good Morning America.

He said: "It was nothing short of thrilling to be able to share this music with American television audiences on Thanksgiving Day.

"The feedback has been overwhelming and it has made me that much more excited to get this show on its feet in front of Broadway audiences this March!"

The musical is based on the 2004 film Finding Neverland, which starred Johnny Depp as Barrie and Kate Winslet as his friend Sylvia Llewelyn Davis.

In the show, their roles will be taken by Glee's Matthew Morrison and Laura Michelle Kelly, who performed alongside Gary on Good Morning America. Frasier star Kelsey Grammer will play a stage producer.

Finding Neverland is backed by Harvey Weinstein's Live Entertainment company.
