Ne-Yo has revealed he would love to work with Adele and "do something great" in the recording studio with her.
The 33-year-old music star, whose real name is Shaffer Chimere Smith, has a number of musicians he admires and would like to collaborate with.
Ne-Yo said: "I'm loving Adele. Have been since 19. I'm a huge fan of Plan B. I like his stuff and I feel he hasn't been getting the recognition he deserves just yet.
"Lana Del Rey, I'm really feeling her at the moment. And Emeli Sande, I like her song, Beneath You're Beautiful. I like that record.
"I would love to get in with any of those, and we would start to do something great together. I feel that if you go in the studio and do anything less than great you're wasting your time."
The R&B star had a dig at pop stars who don't write their own music or sing live, saying he wouldn't want to work with them.
He said: "I wouldn't want to work with anyone who doesn't sing or write, but I can imagine that would be a very handful of people that don't sing their own songs."
