Niall Horan announces solo gig at Dublin's Olympia Theatre
One Direction star Niall Horan has announced a number of solo tour dates, including a show at Dublin's Olympia Theatre.
The Irish singer revealed the news via social media on Monday, telling his followers:
Niall will perform at the Dublin venue on Tuesday, August 29 and tickets for the concert will go on sale from Friday, July 14 at 9am.
Fans who pre-order the singer's upcoming debut solo album will also be given the chance to buy pre-sale tickets for the gigs.
UK & Ireland you can preorder my soon to be announced album & get access to a pre-sale for the Flicker Sessions 2017 https://t.co/j22stivXql— Niall Horan (@NiallOfficial) July 10, 2017
The Flicker Sessions will also see the Slow Hands singer perform at venues in cities all over the world, including London, Tokyo, Sydney, Toronto and New York.
Since One Direction's hiatus began, Niall has enjoyed huge success with his first solo singles This Town and Slow Hands, and his debut album is expected to be released later this year.
Speaking about his solo sound, Niall told Billboard: "There was a lot of 1D stuff I wrote that was along the lines of Fleetwood [Mac], stuff like that, and I hear myself in them songs now sometimes.
"But this time it's just completely me, so I get to do what I want when I want, really."
The gig announcements come after fellow One Direction star Harry Styles revealed he would also be performing a run of solo gigs in the coming months - including a date at Dublin's 3Arena in April 2018.
