Niall Horan gets flirty during TV chat with Lorraine Kelly
One Direction star Niall Horan has enjoyed a bit of early morning flirting with TV host Lorraine Kelly.
The Irish star was being interviewed about his new music, which he described as "very sexual".
Asked about his single Slow Hands, the Mullingar man said: "I thought I'd finished the album last November/December, then I had a thought in January that I wasn't, and I went back into the studio and I wrote Slow Hands in February.
"It was kind of like a last minute addition to the album.
"Very sexual, Lorraine… I didn't want to say that in front of you, but I've said it now."
The Scottish presenter replied: "That's a good thing. Sex is one of the wonderful things in life, it is!"
"What a wonderful woman," Niall told her. "You are the loveliest woman in television."
Speaking about receiving a lot of female attention, Niall continued: "It's not as bad as you think. I'm quite reserved. Are you asking for my number? Because I wish you were Lorraine."
Niall has released his solo music while One Direction are on hiatus, but he says the four-piece will reunite one day.
"It's a no-brainer really. Also, it's only been a year and a half. A year and a half in a lifespan is not that long."
He added: "I always say when One Direction came into town, everyone knew we were here, we were a travelling circus. It was great, we were only kids - 17, 18, 19 - I feel like I am old.
"I've been around the world. It's been nuts but it's been good just to be able to trim it back a little bit, and chill out. It's about time I matured in some way.
"Everyone's great. Everyone's bringing out all sorts of different types of music and we're all doing it at the same time, which is great.
"Everyone's getting a good look in. It's just been really fun actually. I've really enjoyed watching everyone.
"It's going to be weird actually, next month I'm doing a show in America, a radio show, and Liam (Payne) is doing it too."
Asked if he has met Liam and his partner Cheryl's baby boy, Bear, he said their hectic lives have got in the way.
"I'm going to try and see them this week actually, as I haven't met the kid yet,' he said.
"I keep missing them. They're going to America, I'm coming back here and vice versa so I'm going to try and get down to them this week."
Niall recently performed at Arians Grande's One Love Manchester concert, which he described as a "remarkable" experience.
"I'm good friends with Ariana. To get that call and to be invited was a real honour," he said.
"Just to be there on the day it was just unbelievable. I was kind of nervous about it, didn't know how it was going to play out. Was it going to be real sombre or good fun? It turned out it was an unbelievable mix of everything.
"Music is one of those things that pulls people together and everyone enjoys music of some sort, it was great. Music wins again," he added.
