Nickelback toast homecoming gig

Nickelback partied like true rock stars during their latest gig in the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre.

Frontman Chad Kroeger was downing shots on stage only two songs into their hour-and-a-half long set, reported the Toronto Sun.

After opening with This Means War and Something In Your Mouth, Chad was brought what he described as the "smallest Jager shot ever" by a roadie and by the sixth song the rocker was shouting "Pour daddy a drink" into the crowd.

The Canadian band, including guitarist Ryan Peake, bassist Mike Kroeger, and drummer Daniel Adair, went on to throw beer into the audience, who reportedly enjoyed every minute of the party atmosphere of the show.

The crowd enjoyed such hits as Photograph, How You Remind Me, Rockstar and Figured You Out.
