O'Donoghue flight with Voice singer

Danny O'Donoghue flew his Voice finalist Andrea Begley on a helicopter ride to the Isle of Wight Festival.

According to the Daily Mirror, Danny's band The Script paid £7,000 for a chopper to take Danny from London's Pinewood Studios, after filming the live BBC One show on Saturday, to the festival, where the band were performing.

But instead of taking along his bandmates, The Voice coach Danny took Andrea, who is almost blind, and a small BBC crew to film the journey instead.

The newspaper said that viewers will see the footage on Saturday night, in a recap of Andrea's week with her mentor.

A source from The Voice was quoted as saying: "It was an amazing experience for Andrea and a generous thing for Danny and the boys to offer her."

Andrea competes against Leah McFall, Matt Henry and Mike Ward on this weekend's grand final.
