One Direction got suited and booted as Louis Tomlinson's mother Johannah got married.

The boyband - Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, minus fifth member Zayn Malik - donned suits and sunglasses to celebrate her big day, reported the Daily Mirror.

Harry, who wore a black hat and a monochrome scarf around his neck, showed off his rocker credentials and his toned body when he left his shirt unbuttoned.

Liam, who arrived arm-in-arm with girlfriend Sophia Smith, stole the show in a full suit and waistcoat, while his bandmate Niall opted for a navy suit with a blue striped shirt. Louis' girlfriend Eleanor Candor was one of the bridesmaids.

Zayn and his fiancee Perrie Edwards were noticeably absent from the festivities.

The group, who have had hits with You And I, What Makes You Beautiful and Story Of My Life, played a spot of croquet in between the celebrations.

Louis' mum Johannah, known as Jay, announced she was engaged to her partner Daniel Deakin while they were in Dublin in March, when she was in Ireland supporting the band.

She posted pictures on Twitter of her special day, captioned: "Wedding day," followed by "Lovely day."
