Rita Ora has joined the line-up for a concert to be held in memory of Stephen Lawrence.

The Shine Ya Light singer is the latest addition to Unity - A Concert For Stephen Lawrence, with previously announced acts including Emeli Sande, Ed Sheeran, Plan B and Jessie J.

Beverley Knight, Rizzle Kicks, Labrinth, Jamie Cullum, Tinie Tempah, Rudimental and Soul II Soul are also performing on stage at London's O2 Arena on September 29.

Rita told Radio 1: "It is just really important to have a message when it comes to music. Anything to inspire young kids and the youth is something that I kind of live by."

Former Voice judge Jessie added: "Anything I can do to support Doreen Lawrence, that deserves that support from young people, if I can use my talent to do that, then I will. His name has become a cause and a fight for right."

The concert, known as SL20, marks the 20th anniversary of Stephen Lawrence's murder. Organised by Stephen's mother Doreen, it will help raise funds for The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust, which helps to develop brighter futures for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
