Oxegen music festival has chosen two DJs as its headline acts.

Promoters announced David Guetta as the other main performer alongside Calvin Harris at the Punchestown venue over the August bank holiday weekend.

Other acts on the bill include Snoop Lion (Dogg), Example, Chase and Status, Alesso, Labrinth, Rita Ora, Pitbull and Soulwax.

There was a mixed reaction to the line-up among music fans, with some lamenting the absence of any big-name rock group and saying there was too much dance music, while others described it as "unreal".

Capacity for the festival has been slashed from 80,000 to just 50,000.

Early bird tickets go on sale at 8am on Friday.

Making resources more readily available to the public is a worthwhile mission. You especially enjoy seeing children benefit from your hard work. Thanks to you, they'll have better opportunities for advancement.More
