Ozzy Osbourne marks 65th birthday

Ozzy Osbourne has asked fans to donate to a cancer charity to mark his 65th birthday.

The Black Sabbath rocker turned 65 on Tuesday and made the appeal to fans to donate to The Royal Marsden, for its research and patient care, instead of giving him gifts.

He wrote: "I'm using my bday to raise money for @royalmarsden! Give a gift and donate to help cancer patients".

Cancer is a subject close to Ozzy's heart - his wife Sharon battled colon cancer and underwent a double mastectomy after discovering she carries a gene which increases the risk of developing breast cancer.

Meanwhile, Ozzy has also hit back at his brother-in-law after he was quoted criticising Sharon in a newspaper interview.

"Brother-in-law in name only, leave my family alone. Stop selling false stories on my family. Get a job and be a man," Ozzy tweeted.

"PS you call me a saint for living with your sister, the word is love and adore not saint, but I forgot you don't know what love is do you?"
