Pattinson making music since split

Robert Pattinson has reportedly turned to music after his romance split

Robert Pattinson has apparently poured his heartbreak into music since splitting from Kristen Stewart.

The heartthrob actor broke up with his Twilight co-star earlier this year and has turned to songwriting and playing his guitar to help him get over the end of their on-off romance, reported The Sun.

A source said: "Rob's always had half a mind on his music, but when his film career and relationship with Kristen both took off at the same time, something else had to give.

"He's really enjoyed picking up his guitar again properly and it has given him something to focus on during the break-up."

R-Patz is a keen musician and has performed on film soundtracks, including those for his own vampire film and comedy drama How To Be.

But it seems the British star isn't planning to branch out just yet, as he is not planning to send his music to record labels.

The insider added: "Everyone's saying that he's really talented, but he's adamant we'll only be seeing him in films for the time being."
