Perry does Tango in Buenos Aires
Katy Perry enjoyed some local fare then danced it off with the Tango before taking to the stage in Argentina.
The Firework singer was joined by South American showgirls sporting huge purple feather head dresses and skimpy, sparkly bikinis as she performed at the Pepsi music festival.
Katy tweeted: "After some really fun Tango and delicious empanadas I'm ready to play my first ever show in the beautiful city of Buenos Aires! I [heart] it here!"
The 26-year-old singer performed all her hits, opening with Teenage Dream and finishing off with California Gurls, before telling the crowd "I love you, Buenos Aires!"
During I Kissed A Girl she invited a fan on stage and gave them a kiss. At one point she reportedly tripped and fell on stage and was helped up and off stage by a security official, but the show soon continued before her fans had time to worry.
Katy has taken her California Dreams Tour to South America and was spotted earlier this week arriving at Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, sporting a mask of Carmen Miranda, the legendary samba singer and Hollywood actress.
Katy tweeted: "The children have landed in Rio!
"I' m ready to rock Rio! 100,000 people tonight! I love you Brazil... You've waited so long for me so tonight I'm gonna give it to you!!!"
After performing again in Sao Paulo she said: "I had tears of joy tonight... Sao Paulo inspired me all over again.
"Sao Paulo, a huge city with no advertising/billboards/influence of choice. Refreshing, you get to see architecture & natural beauty instead. Cool."
