Katy Perry has revealed that she has a soft spot for One Direction.
The X Factor runners-up posted a note about the Firework singer after they saw her new film Katy Perry: Part Of Me 3D, writing: "Wow, what an amazing woman. True talent!"
Katy, whose divorce from Russell Brand is set to be made official this month, joked: "They went and just saw the movie and tweeted some really nice things about it. They are very cute boys but very illegal for me."
After collaborating with Snoop Dogg, Kanye West and Missy Elliot, the 27-year-old is open to working with some British stars.
"I'm such a fan of Marina And The Diamonds and her new record," she said.
"I love English music. I love Morrissey and I think some incredible artists come from a little rainy place called England."
Katy revealed that she wouldn't mind further big-screen appearances in the future. She previously filmed a cameo in Russell's film Get Him To The Greek, but it was later cut out.
"I think maybe if it's right for me in the future and it does something great, then maybe I will be associated with it," she added.
But now that her year-long California Dreams world tour and film are done, she is finally eyeing some time off. She said: "I'm very congested with thoughts and I can't wait to get them all out, but until then I will probably kind of recharge."
