Pictured: X Factor Jedward twins ditch the quiffs and let their hair down
Friday, 13 November 2009
The X Factor Grimes twins John and Edward let their hair down yesterday.
The twins from Dublin, emerged from rehearsals in London sporting new hairdos ahead of tomorrow night's show.
Their famous quiffs were nowhere to be seen.
Instead, the pair, dubbed 'Jedward', wore their blonde hair brushed down on their foreheads, raising questions among their fanswhether they would shed their spikes for tomorrow night's performance.
The Lucan duo have been the talking point of this year's 'X Factor' show thanks to their frenetic dancing and off-key singing.
The boys have also been subjected to a torrent of criticism.
Robbie Williams, a self-confessed Jedward fan, has rallied to their defence, saying they are "really entertaining".

X factor is SUPPOSED to be a TALENT show. These two have got NONE whatsoever. Time to get them OFF FOREVER. They will NEVER ba a Susan Boyle.

Oh, and look they are wearing the same coat as my grandad.
And the photo was taken in broad daylight and in colour.
And, shock horror, they wear jeans.

These are two great kids. Forget about them not being able to sing, they have had to deal with a lot of mental abuse from the X Factor audience, from some of the judges and from the slimey press. They have conducted themselves impeccably and I am sure whatever their fate on X Factor they are destined for a great future in the showbiz industry. Good luck guys!!
