Pink has postponed two tour dates on doctor's orders to give her voice a rest.

The 34-year-old singer - who has been on the road with her Truth About Love tour since February - has announced she is moving back her shows in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Denver, Colorado, by four days because her vocal cords need a break.

Pink tweeted: "Thanks for all the support y'all. Not very dramatic- doctor just wants me on complete vocal rest for four days to heal. So I can kick a**.

"Both shows rescheduled and very quickly. Touring would be terribly easy if I lip synced. See you soon."

As well as singing in her shows, Pink also performs a series of Cirque du Soleil-inspired acrobatic stunts on stage.

Meanwhile, Pink's two-year-old daughter Willow has chickenpox.

The So What singer tweeted: "my daughter is my hero. i wish i was as cool as her #chickenpox #sowhat."
