Prince and Delilah secretly dating?

Prince has been romantically linked to British singer Delilah

Prince and Delilah are rumoured to have been dating in secret.

Speculation was sparked between the US star and the British songstress after he invited her to join him on tour two years ago, when they allegedly grew close, reported the Daily Mirror.

According to reports, the pair have been on a string of dates after he discovered her videos on YouTube.

Twenty-three-year-old Delilah - whose real name is Paloma Stoecker - was spotted at Prince's gig at Ronnie Scott's in London's Soho on February 17, alongside the likes of Adele, Stephen Fry, Kate Moss and Noel Gallagher.

A spokesman for Prince played down the romance rumours, saying: "Delilah is a friend of everyone in the band and everyone loves spending time with her."

Delilah, who released her debut album From The Roots Up in 2012, said of their first meeting in 2012: "Prince called and said he was a fan of my work and invited me on tour. It was amazing," adding that the 55-year-old was "perfectly down to earth" and that "we hung out together".

Prince, who has been playing a number of intimate gigs in London, is expected to play two secret venues in Manchester in coming days.
