Prince announces new London shows

Prince is returning to London to perform two more shows in one night.

The 55-year-old singer and all-female band 3RDEYEGIRL toured the UK in May and will play two gigs at London's Roundhouse in Camden on Wednesday June 4 starting at 5.30pm and 9.45pm.

Prince and 3RDEYEGIRL began their Hit And Run Tour - Part II around the UK in February. They arrived in London to much hype and kicked off a number of spontaneous live shows in Lianne La Havas' living room, before surprising fans by taking to the stage at the Electric Ballroom in Camden, London's Shepherd's Bush O2 Empire and at Manchester's Academy.

The arena tour of the UK was the Purple Rain star's first regional arena dates since 1995. He previously played a sold-out residency at London's O2 Arena in 2007.

The eccentric musician was spotted watching tennis player Rafael Nadal play in the French Open in Paris. Prince sat in the crowd sporting reflective sunglasses, a white polo neck underneath a blue jumpsuit and holding a sparkly cane.

Tickets for tyhe gigs are on sale now exclusively from
