Professor Green stays in top spot

Professor Green has retained top slot in the singles charts

Professor Green has held on to the top slot in the singles charts.

The London rapper's track Read All About It, which features Scottish singer-songwriter Emeli Sande, earned the 27-year-old a second week at number one, ahead of Rihanna's We Found Love.

Cher Lloyd's second release With Ur Love featuring US singer Mike Posner held the top spot in Wednesday's Official Chart Update but had to settle for the highest new entry accolade at number four.

The only other new entries in the top 10 were singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran's Lego House, which climbed from 12 to six, and DJ David Guetta's Without You featuring Usher which re-entered at 10, up from 13 last week.

Florence And The Machine's second album Ceremonials stormed to the top of the official chart with sales of over 90,000 in its first week.

Professor Green also celebrated a second top-three album as At Your Inconvenience went straight in at three following his 2010 debut Alive Til I'm Dead, which peaked at two.

English tenor Alfie Boe, currently performing in the West End production of Les Miserables, achieved his best-ever charts performance with new album Alfie. The collection of popular covers went straight in at six.

The debut album Stereo Typical from Brighton duo Rizzle Kicks entered at nine while Welsh rockers Manic Street Preachers claimed their ninth top-10 album with National Treasures - The Complete Singles, which debuted at 10.
