R Kelly: I've done song with Bieber

Justin Bieber has collaborated with R Kelly

R Kelly has confirmed he has recorded a song with Justin Bieber.

The pair are rumoured to have collaborated musically after Justin sent a cryptic tweet to the RnB crooner and Canadian rapper Drake, writing: "They aren't ready."

The Ignition singer, whose real name is Robert Kelly, admitted the rumours are true, telling Vibe: "I just did a song [with Justin Bieber].

He added: "[Justin] just called me to do a song and it's hot. He wanted to go and do some RnB stuff so we got together and did that."

Justin later teased that the track could be unveiled in coming days, tweeting: "next week :)" accompanied by a link to the Vibe story.

R Kelly and the 19-year-old were seen hanging out together earlier this year.

The 46-year-old star's musical partnership with Justin follows his work with Lady Gaga on Do What U Want. His new album Black Panties will be released in December.
