Radiohead are to begin work on a new album in September, Jonny Greenwood has confirmed.
The band have been pursuing solo projects since the end of their most recent tour last year. Their last album The King Of Limbs, their eighth, was released in 2011.
Guitarist and keyboard player Jonny told BBC 6 Music: "We're going to start up in September, playing, rehearsing and recording and see how it's sounding."
In a previous interview, Jonny said the band would be regrouping in the summer to discuss plans for a new album.
It will come as good news to Radiohead fans after Jonny's brother Colin Greenwood said at the beginning of the year that plans for the band to work together again were, " all up in the air at the minute".
Frontman Thom Yorke has been busy working with rock and electronic supergroup Atoms For Peace.
