John C Reilly would like to perform with Michael Cera.
The Wreck-It Ralph star has been playing a couple of UK gigs with his band in between promoting his new Disney film, and said that if he could tempt any actor to join him on the road, it would be Michael.
"I've actually not worked with him before, but I know him through mutual friends - Michael Cera is an amazing guitar player. Really, really accomplished, so I might bring Michael Cera along," he said.
He continued: "You'd be surprised how many actors are closet musicians. There's a lot of people - because the amount of time you have to spend on your own, travelling or waiting around, a guitar ends up being a pretty good companion to a lot of actors."
John, who voices the video game villain in Wreck-It Ralph, is glad that he can combine both music and acting.
"It's a pretty fulfilling job - if I could make a living doing it, I think I'd be very happy doing it," he said.
"For me, acting and music have always been tied-up in each other. I didn't teach myself to play guitar or really perform as a musician until later in life, so I suppose acting - but I always thought there was a lot of similarities between the two. Luckily I don't have to choose!"
