Robbie slams Liam for cheating
Robbie Williams has reignited his feud with Liam Gallagher after criticising the ex-Oasis frontman for cheating on his wife, ex-All Saints star Nicole Appleton.
The pair were originally mates and were pictured hanging out together at Glastonbury in 1995 after Robbie quit Take That.
But they later fell out and in 2000 Robbie challenged Liam to a televised boxing match for £100,000 while collecting a Brit Award for his solo work.
Robbie, who married Ayda Field in 2010, said he was sorry for Nicole, who he dated before she met Liam, adding she was "a very decent person".
He told The Sun: "Nicole really doesn't deserve all that from Liam. I've very, very fond memories of her. She's a sweetie."
Robbie, who has a new album called Swings Both Ways coming out, said his feud with former bandmate Gary Barlow was in the past and he did not even mind if Gary's new album outsold his.
He said: "Our rivalry in the old days was the silliness of youth. I had my reasons.
"I felt hard done to and hard done by so I was angry and bitter. But it's all part of the story and makes it interesting.
"I don't regret it now because we're friends. If we weren't friends, then I really would regret it."
