Rockers Kiss launch 'monster' book

Kiss have launched their giant book in London

Gene Simmons and his Kiss bandmates have unveiled a new book - which is a staggering three feet tall.

The American glam rockers - Gene, Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer - jetted to London to launch KISS Monster, which features unseen photographs from the band's 40-year career.

"A band that is bigger than life deserves a book that's bigger than life. You could call it a coffee table book, but if you put legs on it, it is a coffee table," joked Paul.

Only 1,000 copies of KISS Monster will be on sale and each one will be signed by the band. It will retail at 4,299 dollars.

"It's not a cheap book because it is hand bound, hand put together. It's the Rolls-Royce of books," said Gene.

Meanwhile, Gene has opened up about his marriage to Canadian actress and model Shannon Tweed, saying she knows everything about him.

The rocker, who wed Shannon last year after 28 years together, told Daybreak: "I've been arrogant and selfish all my life, thought that I had my cake and eat it too. And Shannon has put up with my poo poo for 28 years. And after two wonderful children - Nick is 23 now, Sophie is turning 20 - for her to stick around and put up with all that?

"And she knows everything, she knows where all the bodies are buried."
