Ronan Keating and his Boyzone bandmates have had tattoos to mark the death of Stephen Gately.

Keating's tribute to his former bandmate was just visible as he appeared at Majorca's Palma Airport today, before accompanying the coffin home to Dublin.

As the visibly upset singer spoke, the numbers "76 09" were apparent beneath his T-shirt sleeve. They correspond to the years of Gately's birth and death.

Each of the band members - Shane Lynch, Keith Duffy and Mikey Graham - is understood to have had a memorial tattoo to their former colleague.

Lynch is already known for his heavily-tattooed physique

A source said: "The tattoos were done as a mark of respect for Stephen."

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Capricorn:

Your dry humour will be very popular. It's always difficult bringing a large group of people together. Everybody feels like they are walking on eggshells. After cracking a few jokes, you'll put the group at ease. Resist the temptation to make fun of relatives, especially the more sensitive members of the group. Nobody likes feeling singled out. Watching a light hearted comedy can also be a great way to generate a festive atmosphere. This is a time when people can put their differences aside.More
