Rowland: Bandmates are soul mates

Kelly Rowland has claimed she has a psychic connection with Beyonce and Michelle Williams because they are her soul mates.

The Destiny's Child bandmates have worked together for almost 15 years and Kelly revealed in an interview with website Hello Beautiful that the girls are always there for her - and just know when she needs their support.

Kelly, 33, said: "I believe in soul mates. I believe soul mates are not just in relationships, but they're in friendships.

The singer said she counted her Destiny's Child bandmates in that category, along with famous friends Angie Beyince, Solange Knowles and LaLa Anthony.

She said: "I have soul mates through Beyonce, Michelle, Angie, Solange and LaLa. I have soul mates. I'm so thankful for that too, because I think they understand you.

"If there's something on my heart or my mind, before I can even pick up the phone, one of them is calling me saying, 'What are you doing? Are you OK?'

"We're connected and I think that's such a beautiful thing. It's the greatest gift you can have."

And the Independent Women singer - who married manager Tim Witherspoon last month - doesn't like men who try to get involved in her female friendships.

Asked if men should get involved in women's drama she said: "Stay out. It's called female drama for a reason."
