Rudimental's Amir Amor has revealed that he would like Lauryn Hill to feature on one of their songs.

The chart-topping drum and bass group - Amir, Piers Agget, Kesi Dryden and DJ Locksmith - are also hoping to get Bobby Womack on a track after they met him on Later... With Jools Holland.

"We would love to work with Lauryn Hill. That would be amazing. She's an all-round talent - writer, singer and rapper - and her message is really cool," he said.

"We'd love to work with Prince and Sade. We had the privilege of meeting Bobby Womack and he complimented us afterwards, calling us 'dope'. Hopefully we'll do something together. Our music with his soulful voice would be amazing."

The quartet - who have had two No 1 singles - have worked with up-and-coming artists such as John Newman and Ella Eyre.

"We're just a sucker for a soulful and powerful voice. It makes no difference whether it's a big artist or an unknown one," Amir revealed.

"We enjoy working with unknown artists because we are giving them a platform and that breakthrough. But we're not opposed to working with anyone who's already famous."

Rudimental, who are playing a number of festival performances in the summer including GlobalGathering, have been celebrating their debut album Home hitting the top spot in the UK album charts.

Amir said: "You can never predict something like that. We knew it was going to be something big, but didn't know it would be this big. It's great that people are opening up to what used to be underground music, and getting it into the mainstream."

:: GlobalGathering takes place on July 26 and 27 at Long Marston Airfield, Stratford Upon Avon. See for details.
