Sande working on songs for Rihanna

Emeli Sande is writing for Rihanna

Emeli Sande has revealed she is writing songs for Rihanna's new album.

The Lifted singer revealed on the red carpet at the Ivor Novello Awards that she is working with the Umbrella star on tracks to accompany her latest movie role - voicing a character in 3D animation Home.

Emeli said: "There's been a lot going on. I've been back in [the studio] with Naughty Boy, which has been amazing.

"I've been writing for Rihanna's new movie, which has been incredible. I was with Rodney Jerkins the other night. I feel now I'm back in creative mode."

Rihanna is apparently planning a concept album based on Dreamworks animation Home, which will be released next year.

The film about aliens hiding on Earth features the voices of Rihanna, Jim Parsons, Jennifer Lopez and Steve Martin.

Virgo:

It's difficult to deal with a highly competitive colleague. Every time you submit work, they try to find ways to outperform you. Although you have no interest in pitting your talent against theirs, this other person thinks very differently. Ignoring them won't be possible. A good way to disarm this pest is to invite them out for coffee. Describe what you've observed and ask for a truce. Irrational people are often thrown off balance when their behaviour is addressed in a direct manner.More
