The Saturdays' Frankie Sandford has got engaged to Manchester City footballer Wayne Bridge.

The 24-year-old singer revealed the news on Twitter, where she posted a photo of her new diamond ring with the caption: "Guess what?!!!!"

Her bandmate Rochelle Humes tweeted: "Big congratulations to @FrankieTheSats and Wayney. He did so well :-) and the ring is to die for in the flesh. Welcome to the wifey club xxx."

Meanwhile, Rochelle admitted she had the "best" baby shower.

The 23-year-old, who is expecting her first child with husband Marvin, showed off her baby bump in a green dress as she was joined by close family and friends including fellow mum-to-be, The Only Way Is Essex's Georgina Dorsett.

"Had the best day ever. Thanks to all of my friends for lovely gifts and a great day Mwauhhhh xxx," she tweeted.

The Saturdays songstress revealed that Marvin's JLS bandmate Aston Merrygold has splashed out on a fancy pram for their baby.

The Got To Dance judge, who is calling himself Uncle Aston, gave the limited edition Aston Martin Silver Cross Surf pushchair as a present at the baby shower, which was held over the weekend.

Rochelle tweeted a picture of the gift, with the caption: "Uncle Aston as been so naughty and spoilt baby Humes this week @JLSOfficial what a lucky angel. Aston from Aston. The baby has a cooler car than us. Naughty uncle. Xx"
