Also announced to be performing at the festival are Katy B, Mark Owen, Conor Maynard, The Pigeon Detectives, McFly, 5ive and The Eels.

The event - staged at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park in Staffordshire - is being held over the weekend of August 17 and 18.

V Festival have also announced The Futures stage, headlined by Jamie Cullum and Benjamin Francis Leftwich

The Script, Jessie J, Rita Ora and X Factor winner James Arthur will be playing V too this summer. The Vaccines, Beady Eye, Calvin Harris and Jessie Ware are also among the first batch of stars unveiled for the Virgin Media-sponsored event.

Tickets are available from www.VFestival.com.

A colleague who takes great pleasure in making everyone feel miserable should be reprimanded. Make it clear you aren't the only person who is suffering from their abuse. Explain how this bully is ruining morale. It's a system wide problem that needs to be nipped in the bud.More
