Shakira for Belfast's Odyssey Arena

Later this year global superstar Shakira is set to mesmerise Northern Ireland when she performs at the Odyssey Arena.

The Latin-American diva, who has sold more than 50m albums worldwide, will take to the stage at the Belfast venue for one night as part of her European tour.

Born in Colombia, the 33-year-old singer/songwriter was catapulted to global superstardom following the release of her first English-speaking album, Laundry Service, in 2001.

Shakira will perform at the Odyssey Arena on December 17.

Tickets go on sale on July 7.
