Sharon Osbourne has sparked controversy by saying that Justin Bieber "doesn't realise he's white and not black".
The X Factor judge spoke out about the pop star, whose bad boy antics have kept him in the headlines.
Sharon told thedailybeast.com: "I feel really bad for him. There's this little kid with a huge dream, he's cute, girls love him, and he wants to be a mean boy, and he's about as mean as a f****n' kitten, and he's trying to act out.
"It's like pissing in a bucket. It's like, 'Oh, we're the bad boys!" F*** off! You don't know what bad is.'
"And I think that he's lost, I really do. I think he doesn't realise he's white and not black, that's a huge problem. And, at the point he's at in his career, it's so dangerous because we've seen it all before a million times.
"Where do you go when you're a child entertainer and then you want to transition to be a man? Very few make it."
Her comments sparked controversy on Twitter, with one user, CraigStunna, writing: 'What Sharon Osbourne said about Justin Bieber was racist as hell! So him apparently acting "bad" means he's trying to be black? Oh ok?"
Rhoodje wrote: "Your comment about Justin Bieber is really racist! Define 'acting black' please?"
Sharon's remark came in the same interview in which she said she won't do more X Factor after this year's series and blamed Dannii Minogue for her previous decision to leave, branding the former X Factor judge "insignificant".
Sharon told thedailybeast.com: "I chose to leave because I was uncomfortable there at that time with a woman that was on the panel.
"She's insignificant, but at that time, I let her get under my skin and I should have been the bigger person. But hey, I chose to leave. That's all in the past.
"I wanted to end it on the right note. I'm only doing it this one season, it's been 10 years, and I want to end it on the right way."
