Ed Sheeran's prize sword nearly injured Taylor Swift

Ed Sheeran has revealed he almost impaled Taylor Swift with a sword while sharing her private tour plane.

The A Team singer is on tour in the US with the country star, and decided to take his prized possession, a Lord Of The Rings sword given to him by Peter Jackson, on the road.

Ed told MTV News: "It's like a real sword. I got it shipped over, shipped over to Omaha, so I was bringing it back to Nashville and I think [Taylor] and her crew were weirded out by it anyway. They were just like, 'Why does Ed have a sword?'."

And they had even more reason to be scared when the plane took off and the sword slid off the table and almost stabbed Taylor.

Ed explained: "As the plane started to take off, it was on the table and it went like this. The plane is kind of taking off and it started sliding down and I was like, 'No!' It was just about to impale Taylor."

Aquarius:

Trust your instincts regarding moneymaking offers. If a job seems too good to be true, it probably is. Working as part of a campaigning team will suit you down to the ground. You're more motivated to help people than turn big profits. Some friends will discourage you from entering such a field, fearing it won't be lucrative. Don't worry. You'll make a very good salary by doing what you love. Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to be miserable to earn a good living.More
