Singer Chris Brown has been arrested in Washington after a fight broke out near the W Hotel, according to police.

District of Columbia police spokesman Paul Metcalf says the 24-year-old was arrested and charged with felony assault on Sunday.

Mr Metcalf said Chris Hollosy, 35, also was arrested on felony assault charges after the incident. He says both are being held in police custody until Monday.

The incident started just before 4.30am on Sunday. The W Hotel is near the White House.

Police say one adult male victim was injured and was reportedly taken to a hospital with injuries. Police have not identified the victim.

It was not immediately clear whether the victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance or by another vehicle.

Sagittarius:

You're moody and sensitive, especially when it comes to family matters. Although you should make a big change, emotional ties to home are holding you back. Stop making excuses for your failure to act. Just take a leap of faith. Your nearest and dearest will learn to live without your constant presence. Becoming more independent will actually strengthen your relationships, not weaken them. Start looking for your own place to live.More
