Sir Tom in talks over The Voice

TV bosses have launched a charm offensive to keep Sir Tom Jones on The Voice, according to reports.

The Sun said that the Welsh crooner could be set to leave the BBC One show.

Sir Tom won the first series with Leanne Mitchell and returned with Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue - who have announced their departure - and this year.

The newspaper said that Sir Tom's representatives were in talks with production company Wall To Wall this week.

A source was quoted as saying: "Tom leaving would be another massive blow for The Voice.

"His credibility is a huge asset and he would be very hard to replace."

A BBC spokesperson said: "It is not true that either Tom or Will have decided to leave. The line-up is still to be confirmed and we are in ongoing conversations."
