Steven Tyler gives surprise show

Steven Tyler surprised the audience when he made an appearance at a small club in Nashville.

The Aerosmith rocker was in the audience watching songwriters perform at the Bluebird Cafe, a 90-seat venue where many country music singers first got their break.

One of the performers, songwriter Marti Frederiksen, invited Steven on stage to sing Jaded, which Marti co-wrote.

The former American Idol judge then jumped on the piano to belt out the band's power ballad Dream On.

Tyler later said that he had never performed in a room that small and that he was in Nashville to write songs.
