Stevie Wonder denies triplet rumour

Stevie Wonder says he's not about to become a father to triplets - but just one child.

It was recently reported that the I Just Called To Say I Love You singer and his girlfriend Tomeeka Robyn Bracy were expecting three kids.

But the star dismissed the reports.

Appearing on US show The View, he said: "It's not true. The truth is we're going to have a wonderful daughter, born in December. Her name is going to be Nia, which is purpose."

He added: "Rumours spread, and like I said before in the song Superstition, when you believe in things you don't understand you suffer. So, you know, that was a bunch of bull."

The 64-year-old joked: "I've got how many - 22 kids?"

The baby is reported to be Stevie's eighth child.
