Stone: Kidnap plot 'a little odd'

Joss Stone has said she's feeling fine - and her dogs are keeping her safe - after the "odd" plot by two men to rob and kill her.

A jury convicted two men of conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to rob the soul singer following a three-week trial earlier this year.

Now Joss, 26, has been quoted as saying in a radio interview: "My doggies keep me safe. It was a bit harsh and a little bit odd.

"It's something to add to my tapestry of life. Something to tell my grandchildren. I do want to be able to live my life. I love my life."

Joss joked that the only person she was really frightened of was soul legend Aretha Franklin, saying "I am not afraid of anyone... but Aretha."

Kevin Liverpool, 35, was jailed for life in April for plotting to rob and kill the star.

Junior Bradshaw, 32, also of St Stephen's Close, Longsight, Manchester, is still to be sentenced.
