Stone Roses pay tribute to Best

The Stone Roses dedicated a song to George Best at a gig in his home city of Belfast

The Stone Roses have played a tribute to football legend George Best in his home city.

Ian Brown belted out This Is The One for "Georgie the Belfast Boy" to an audience of thousands who chanted United in response.

The Manchester rockers headlined the second night of the Tennent's Vital open air music festival.

They were one of the pioneering groups of the Madchester movement and they delighted fans with a lengthy rendition of Fool's Gold and other classics.

The greatest reception was for This Is The One, marking the legend of former Manchester United and Northern Ireland forward Best, who died following a battle with alcohol in 2005.

Taurus:

An embarrassing secret will come to light, affecting your reputation. Somebody who once admired you will now turn away in dismay. Instead of trying to win their affection again, lay low for a wee while. You'll make a much better impression by letting your actions speak for themselves. There is a chance this relationship is beyond redemption. If your former friend decides to keep their distance, you will have no other choice than to respect their feelings. Better luck next time.More
