Stooshe have admitted they took a risk delaying their debut album, but insisted they refuse to "sell out" and disappoint their fans.
The Black Heart singers - Courtney Rumbold, Alexandra Buggs and Karis Anderson - released their first song in March 2011 but their debut album will not be out until around May 2013 after they ditched the first version.
Courtney said: "We were meant to put it out before and we were in our label signing 2,000 copies of our CD which we weren't happy with, so we decided as a group that we wanted to postpone it. And that was a big risk.
"A lot of our fans were expecting it, and it was a risk on us, because we don't want to upset anybody, but at the same time we don't want to upset anybody by putting something out that we're not happy with.
"It's going to come out around May. We haven't got an exact date on it, but it's not long and we can't wait. We're excited for everyone to hear the new stuff we've put on it."
The girls are nominated for Best Single at the Brit awards, and are really excited about attending.
Alex said: "We can't believe it, because last year we were there and everyone turned up in their slick black Mercedes and we turned up in a pink convertible 1950s BMW with pink balloons hanging off the back, and we were like 'Oh my God no one knows who we are!'
"It's nice to know that in a year everything's happened so quickly and all our hard work has paid off now."
