Streisand makes album chart history
Barbra Streisand has made history by becoming the only artist to have number one albums in each of the last six decades.
The singer achieved the impressive feat of having chart-toppers in six different decades when her latest record Partners, which she released this month, hit number one on the Billboard 200 chart in the US.
The 72-year-old's first number one album was People, in 1964, reported Billboard.
She then went on to top the album charts in the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s.
Overall, Barbra's latest record is her 10th album to reach number one.
Partners features music stars including Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, John Legend and Babyface, and B arbra recently said there were a lot of nerves in the studio as she and her guests laid down their tracks.
She explained: "Everybody was saying to me, 'I'm nervous singing with you!' And I said, 'Whoops, I'm nervous singing with you.' I love that kind of nervousness. You know something's being done for posterity."
