Harry Styles has formed an unlikely friendship with an eminent British philosopher.

The One Direction singer tweeted about ancient thinker Socrates after hitting it off with philosopher Alain de Botton at a party, The Sun reported.

Alain, 43, told the newspaper: ""He was very interested in finding out about philosophy. He seemed a very intelligent chap."

Harry told his 10 million twitter followers: "Socrates, born in Athens in the 5th century BCE, marks a watershed in Ancient Greek philosophy."

His tweet came after Alain, whose books include The Consolations Of Philosophy, said he wanted stars like Harry to teach his Twitter followers a little more about philosophy.

Alain said of Harry's tweet: "I was really pleased. I'd like to think it was a sign of his curiosity rather than poking fun... Hopefully, this will be the start of Harry engaging with more philosophy."

Capricorn:

Your dry humour will be very popular. It's always difficult bringing a large group of people together. Everybody feels like they are walking on eggshells. After cracking a few jokes, you'll put the group at ease. Resist the temptation to make fun of relatives, especially the more sensitive members of the group. Nobody likes feeling singled out. Watching a light hearted comedy can also be a great way to generate a festive atmosphere. This is a time when people can put their differences aside.More
