Suge to contest Kanye suit ruling
Rap mogul Marion "Suge" Knight plans to appeal against a judge's decision that dismissed his lawsuit against Kanye West.
Knight was shot in the leg in 2005 at a Miami Beach party hosted by rapper Kanye, and Knight blames Kanye for lax security.
His lawsuit is seeking more than one million US dollars (£617,000) in damages from West.
Knight's attorney Mark Brumer said his client was disappointed in the judge's decision, made on Thursday.
In Thursday's order, the judge concluded there was no evidence that a shooting at the party was foreseeable.
Kanye's attorney Adam Josephs said the lawsuit was ill-conceived from the beginning.
The gunman has never been identified.
