Taylor Swift has rubbished rumours that she and Jennifer Lopez are planning to collaborate on a new song.

The Red singer and Dance Again star Jennifer recently appeared together on stage in Los Angeles and it sparked speculation that they would be teaming up to make music.

But Taylor, 23, told E! News that she and J-Lo haven't discussed working together.

She said: "That's the rumour. We collaborated at Staples Centre. She came out and sang Jenny From The Block with me which was so much fun.

"We haven't spoken further about collaborating but I did read that on the internet, so that's nice to know that it's always accurate."

Taylor revealed she is a big fan of 44-year-old Jennifer.

"I mean, for me, I love her, she's amazing," she said. "She has my number, we text, but we haven't texted about going into the studio."

The singers teamed up on stage last month, when Jennifer came out as Taylor's last guest performer on her final Red Tour show in LA.
