Taylor Swift: Fan signs distract me

Taylor Swift at the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto

Taylor Swift has confessed she sometimes gets put off her performance at gigs trying to read the signs her fans are holding up in the crowd.

The 23-year-old singer has won multiple awards for her music - including seven Grammys, six Country Music Awards and 12 Billboard gongs - but she admitted to The Sun even she gets a little distracted at work sometimes - by giant pictures of her cat, Meredith.

Taylor explained at the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto, Canada: "It's amazing and adorable, but if there's a really long sign and I'm trying to read it while I'm on stage I'll start singing the lines of the sign.

"They're all kind of a little strange. Sometimes there are giant signs of my cat's face. I look out and there's a giant cat."

The We Are Never Getting Back Together singer flaunted her incredible curves at the award ceremony in a figure-hugging black and white Herve Leger bandage dress, with towering Christian Louboutin heels as she accepted her award for Fave International Artist of the Year.
