The Edge falls off stage during opening night of U2 tour in Vancouver
"Didn't see the edge, I'm ok"
The Edge had an unfortunate mishap as he lived up to his namesake when he fell off the edge of the stage during the opening night of U2's Innocence and Experience tour in Vancouver.
As frontman Bono sang I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, The Edge was walking down the middle stage which traversed the Rogers Arena.
However, it appeared he wasn't looking where he was going as he stepped right off the edge of the stage, falling several feet to the ground, guitar in hand.
But afterwards he took to Twitter via the official U2 account to let fans know he was ok.
He tweeted: "Didn't see the edge, I'm ok".
Embarrassing incidents aside, the show was a success boasting stages at either end of the arena and a new sound and video system which ensures everyone can see and hear the band.
The band will play another concert in Vancouver tonight - and will shake up the second half of the setlist - before hitting LA, Chicago, Boston, New York and more.
The Innocence and Experience tour will then move to Europe. Irish dates have yet to be confirmed but are expected to take place around Christmas.
