The Wanted to unleash Word Of Mouth

The Wanted have confirmed the release date for their third album.

The Wanted have announced their new album Word Of Mouth will be released in September.

The boyband - Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes - will unveil their third record, the follow-up to 2011's Battleground, on September 16. It will include singles Walks Like Rihanna, Chasing The Sun and I Found You.

"It's taken us two years to make this album and now that it's finally finished we are all really proud of the time and effort, not just that we put into it but all the writers and the label too," said Tom.

"We think it's our strongest album to date. We can't wait for our fans to hear it. They've been really patient but hopefully they'll think it's worth the wait!"

The album will be preceded by new single We Own The Night, described as a "summer pop anthem" with "killer dance beats".

Nathan, who has recovered from specialist throat surgery to correct a haemorrhaging vocal cord, said: "We're massively excited about our new single We Own The Night. It takes us right back to the sound which everyone knows us for and sets the mood for the album."

The group have been filming their E! reality TV show The Wanted Life in the US and touring around the world.
